With our association activities we want to promote science and research in the field of railway technology. Most important to us, however, is to maintain community work to promote the exchange of professional experience and general technical progress.
These objectives are also laid down in the statutes.
We are a forum that brings together people from all areas of our specialist field - industry, universities and transport companies - and enables an informal, cross-company exchange of experience and contacts. Most of the currently approx. 100 members have direct or indirect professional contact with the railway industry. It is precisely this manifold range of interests with the possibility of an exchange of experience across all sectors that makes association life interesting.
